"And in Waikiki, a man completed his remarkable run for America. Family, friends and members of the military cheered on Noah Coughlin as he stepped foot on Waikiki Beach with a flag donated by the Travis Air Force Base in California. His family says his mission began as a way to raise awareness for two childhood friends who had a rare brain disease. And now he runs to celebrate the country we live in. It's been an incredible journey and a little lost for words right now. I have a speech reserved in my head and I'm looking out the crowd. But this is called, Attributes to the American People. He's carried the American flag across the entire nation and he's stopped and asked everyday Americans, what does the flag mean to you? And he's celebrated Americans and he's been able to shine a spotlight on them. So he's really just appreciative of where we live and the kindness of everyday people. We're just so proud of him. It definitely is mind over matter. Coughlin is only the third person in recorded history to cross all 50 states on foot."
