"A cease and desist order has been issued for a Pearl City business and property owner. The Department of Health issued a notice of violation order to ABC Towing and Parts and property owner J.H. Hawaii Property. The DOH says the property, located on Lehua Avenue, was operating a solid waste management site without approval. They say inspectors saw mixed trash, scrap metal and appliances and 21,000 tires. The companies are ordered to remove all solid waste from the site and to submit a work plan and implementation schedule within 60 days. The manager for ABC Towing had no comment when we reached out. The companies also face hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines."
