These girls are about to be dressing like a bunch of absolute freaks, and that's exactly what fashion needs right now. Nino Rosberg went into the abyss this season, and from the depths he pulled alien bioluminescent bodices, curiously shaped sea slugs, and ghost face, sculpted crinoline elements that are both humorous and kind of frightening, alongside dresses glowing from a hidden celestial power source. I would say stylists would be racing to get these for a red carpet, but that race is already won. There are other luminous options to choose from, don't you worry. I was really interested in the darker pieces. The sheen on this jacket is so captivating and dangerous, almost like an oil spill. Look at these shoes! These neon sea urchin bags are so alive, fully beaded under the spikes, of course. That technique is also applied to the most insane shoe of the season. Oh, they're so threatening. But from the darkness comes this explosion of light and color, exuberant and feminine florals inspired by Gaudi's colorful architecture in Barcelona. The most dainty appliques juxtaposed onto sculptural jackets and translucent skirts. This caged wire technique is also new. So fine and sculptural, but the poured silicone elements really are just fascinating. Clearly a material that has this couture potential, but is often overlooked. It looks like they skinned Squidward alive, and honestly, that's a slay. Who knew whose body was so tea? I also saw someone from the team lint rolling this piece. They're just like us. So I can confirm that while some of the motifs in this collection seem really divisive, one, that's probably intentional, and two, the craftsmanship is absolutely dazzling, whether you like it or not.
