"I've heard from many folks wondering what can we do now? One thing is providing immediate support to those that are likely to be losing TPS protections in the coming weeks. But taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture, one thing that we can all do is put pressure on the administration, so the Department of Homeland Security, which has the power to not terminate TPS protections. And also on Congress, not too long ago, our House of Representatives passed a bill that would extend TPS protections for Haitians through this administration, through the Trump administration, until I believe January of 2029. The House has already passed a bill and it is now before the Senate. So I believe our senators here in Massachusetts are supportive, so this is the time to reach out to all of your friends and family that live in other states and make sure that they are calling their senators, urging them to support this bill, which is a very short bill, it's one line, easy to understand, right to the point, and it's bill S4814. So we have a link here and you can use the QR code that brings you to a quick action toolkit with some talking points that you can use when reaching out to your members of Congress. And so that's something that each and every one of us can do today and actually every day you can keep."
