Another thrift store find! If I dare to customize this to be Azumanga Daioh themed, I'll have a grand total of three Azudai alarm clocks!
"This is another Thrift Store find from earlier yesterday. This is a Big Ben moonbeam alarm clock. And I just realized when I plugged it in that even the face is backlit. The special gimmick for this is that you set the alarm and rather than a traditional alarm, it wakes you up with a flashing light. Apparently these existed in the 50s, but this is a later recreation that was made in China. I don't know how later, but this is according to like a video that I quickly looked at to make the decision to spend the $3 on this. And it has a snooze button right here. The 50s version in the video had like a tradition option to swap out the light alarm with a traditional bell alarm, but I can't seem to find that here. But this is still pretty neat regardless. Rather still, I'm tempted to replace the face of the alarm clock and swap it with my own customization. The screws on the bottom, so maybe I can like do that, but yeah, let's see what happens."
