"Everything has just gone through the roof on my phone." @Freaki talks his rise to viral fame after his televised reaction became a meme overnight  😂 🇵🇾

🎤 Whisper Transcript (en) ⏱ 179s

"And that image has gone absolutely everywhere. People using it here after just one week of dating, sure, when he wants to get married, no. Calm down, calm down, calm down. That's a good one. That's a good one. What else do we have here? How else have been, oh, you're 28? When will you marry? That's what your mom says when you go, hey, calm down. Calm down, calm down. Chill, chill. Chill, chill. Not too soon, too soon, too young at 28. Another one saying, since he hit the gym, we haven't seen any improvement. Chill. Chill. It's coming. It's coming. Chill. It's coming. It's coming. Listen, Fabio is absolutely everywhere. You have definitely seen him on your timeline. And now he is joining us. Fabio, Mesa, Fabio, how are, man, what's up? I already knew you from social media before this viral moment, but what's it been like since going so viral in that image? First and foremost, big fan of the show. Excited to be on the screen. It still feels a little surreal. But yeah, it's been crazy, crazy like three days, I would say. My phone hasn't stopped ringing. And it's funny, because it's all walks of life. And that's really the power of the World Cup and the stage is that while I already had a little following now in Paraguay, it's like, I won't be able to walk the streets in Paraguay. I just went to a Bandedazo yesterday in Times Square. And you can just see a different look in people's eyes when they look at me. And I've been obviously reading the message and the comments and the message. Everything's just gone through the roof on my phone. I can't even get to everything. I've got all sorts of walks of life. But I think the cool thing is just people in the gaming community, and really in the States, because most of my audience is in South America, even though I was born here. I just haven't been able to just break through in the States slash English-speaking community. So I think that's been cool. Put my culture, where I'm from. Everyone knows me as a Paraguayan-American around New Jersey, where I grew up. There's a strong Paraguayan community here. And so I think the coolest thing is just being myself. That's my catchphrase, chanquilo no ma. It's just chill, because us Paraguayans are so hot-headed, and we're so rabid individuals. As USA saw in the friendly against November, we're very proud of where we come from. We defend our own. We're not the biggest. We're not the richest country. But when we come together, it's very strong."
