Construction here in Syracuse continues despite the heat, no less so on SU’s campus. At the corner of Van Buren and Stadium, one of the workers who had just freshly poured concrete was kind enough to inform us that they expect the project to be finished on-time, ready for Fall. #bdj1
"Ian Meister here at Van Buren and Stadium Street. We've got the road shut down due to construction that is planned to be completed by the time the fall semester begins or a little thereafter. We spoke here to one of the construction workers who claims that it should be on schedule and that the road should be opening back up around that same time. For the time being you will have to take a little bit of a detour through the construction here, however you will still be able to get around to where you need to go. This busy intersection should be back up and running within the next few weeks. My name is Ian Meister. Back to you, NCC News."
