"When it took me four minutes to say, Jazzy is hidden in a bubble. Sarah's illustrations reframe my reality. I think that there is a way that she captures children at play, the natural world that is evocative of the sheen and the glow and the gloss that is meeting or discovering something that you will never forget. And I think that that is in every page of this comic and the fact that she contributed her talents to this piece, I am forever grateful. Jazzy Axelrod is such a phenomenally talented writer. And what she brought to this is not only that incredible professionalism, the editorial instinct, Jazzy came to us and a coup for us what loved the children's adventure. Like knew of Worlds Beyond Number and had already, I think, had that love for it as someone who appreciated it in its audio format. And that gives you the best of all worlds to take someone who knows what the heart of this is and loves it for itself and can bring not only her own gifts as a writer, as a writer of dialogue and a writer of action and thinking about how do we take this from one medium to another, preserve what is essential and change the things that will get in the way if they are not formatted for this new medium. And I think her editorial choices, like everything that was changed, this is a funny thing to say about adaptation. The things that are changed get you closer to what we meant. When it took me four minutes to say, Jazzy is hitting in a bubble."
