"In the wake of the latest Graham-Platner revelations that have led to him suspending his campaign, Republican hypocrisy is at a whole new level of dis-you. Right-wingers can't not talk about the news that Platner allegedly sexually assaulted a former girlfriend. But how to talk about politicians attacking women without looking at the cakey old perv that they've anointed their king? Easy. Just don't listen to yourself The one thing I know about Republicans, when we had a very bad candidate and found out, we didn't vote for that person. We walked away. For better or for worse. When Matt Gaetz came forward, we got rid of him. No, you didn't get rid of him. The trash took itself out. Matt Gaetz, investigated for trafficking a minor among other things, resigned from Congress. But only after Trump hinted that he'd get recycle binned into his administration as attorney general, which never materialized. That look of self-satisfaction. It's as if he doesn't know Trump, a guy convicted in a court of law of sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll, is the president. But when they talk about these things, they don't think of Trump because Trump to them is untouchable, omnipotent, everywhere and nowhere. He's a predator. He is a predator and you don't want him anywhere near power. Yeah, you don't want predators who partied and shared girlfriends with Jeffrey Epstein near power. You want them in power. It's really a question of prepositions. Also, Senator John Kennedy, like Senator Susan Collins, confirmed an alleged attempted rapist, Brett Kavanaugh, to the Supreme Court after a grueling testimony from Christine Blasey Ford. Are we just memory-holing that one? But according to the right, don't even begin to compare Plattner and Trump and the 28 women who have accused Trump of sexual misconduct into this discussion because they're clearly different. First of all, their denials are totally different. That's one thing with Trump. If you accuse him, he's going to tell you, no, you accuse me, he'll point you out, he'll hunt you down, he'll say directly exactly what it is. He doesn't say generally it's not true. He'll tell you exactly who accused him and tell you why it's not true. Will he be precise about his denial? That's strange because I remember that Trump was shown a picture of E. Jean Carroll during the defamation lawsuit against him and he mistook her for his wife. Yeah, real specific, but I guess female face blindness happens to the worst of us. In fact, the only Republican with the most empathy for Graham Plattner weirdly happened to be a man who had no reason to stand up for him at all. I guess he just identifies with Plattner's story. I'm sure you're questioning whether or not you believe the woman. A lot of people say big falsehoods. He's in a bind. He is in a bind and it's too bad that he's not also president because I hear, how does the saying go? That when you're famous, they let you do anything."
