"So the old stereotype, going back to 20 years ago, 15 years ago, was the online student was the guy in his mom's basement who was so, you know, lacks in his commitment to gospel work. He wasn't willing to move to Kansas City or Louisville or Fort Worth or wherever he may go to study. And so it was kind of this pejorative stereotype. What we have found over the years is most of our students that are online is kind of the opposite. They tend to often be, they are already on staff or pastoring a church. God is using them. They are flourishing in a healthy local church context. And we're able to supplement that and to strengthen them academically as they are doing ministry."
