Resident Evil Confidential Report for Java phones is nuts. It's kind of an Active Time Battle isometric dungeon crawler. There are just weapons, healing items and keys. Brief and shallow story. Awful experience because of the ATB-like mechanics. Dying deletes the save. Here's a battle with licker:

After checking all other J2ME titles the most interesting seems to be Resident Evil The Missions 3D that is like MGS VR missions styled version of Resident Evil 3. This works really well and it's extremely bite-sized (~2 min per mission). 100 missions set in just 15 rooms.

Another one is Resident Evil Genesis, which is kind of a spin de-make of RE1 GC Remake.
Story, music and puzzles are really good for a phone, but it flops with controls and fighting mechanics.
There are two versions - better one doesn't save while lower spec has janky movement

<p class="text-xs text-slate-350 leading-relaxed break-words">Lastly, the Resident Evil Uprising is similar spin on RE2. Improves a lot on fighting mechanics, but character design are kind of 2010&#39;s mobile port ugly. Very competent mobile port.
All work on Android&#39;s J2ME loader with gamepad support.
Rest J2ME are just low effort tie-ins.
