Lisa Corsaro Straw has been decorating her 117-year-old Indianapolis home for the Fourth of July — by hand — as a tribute to her late husband, a veteran, and her late parents, who got married on July 4th. 💙❤️🤍
"I sure love that it's decorated for the American flag, and I have a great sense of pride for our veterans and my parents that were the hardest-working people I knew. If you stop to talk to Lisa Corsaro-Straw. I asked him for the blue that looked like the American flag when I picked it out, it loves. You quickly see it's a labor of love for her late husband, a veteran, and her late parents. My parents actually got married on the 4th of July. Just like her mother, she loves the 4th of July. It's a day that everybody remembers, the 4th of July, and everybody loves celebrating. Barbecues, family, family cooking, and of course the fireworks. And a home renovation project. I'm painting my house. A cancer survivor, Corsaro-Straw is also adopting this block to make it beautiful, even on the hottest days of the year. I did this in a couple hours, the front porch, but I got the sides to do, so I paint it all by hand, so it's gonna take a little longer. Because it's pride and respect for her family, her 117-year-old home and her country. Veterans that gave their lives for what we have today, our freedom."
