"So now that you are exiting the masjid, you read the dua, اللهم إني أسألك من فضلك, O Allah, I ask you from your bounty. Why? Because Allah ﷻ mentions in Surat Juma'a, فإذا قُلْيَتَ الصَّلَاتُ فَانْ تَشْرِلُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَبْتَهُ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ that once your fire prayer is done, spread on the earth and see from the bounty of Allah. So you ask Allah, O Allah, bless me and give me from your bounties. And so the way you do it is that you put your left foot out first and then make the dua. Done. And you ask Allah for the bounty."
