Did you know that there’s a three-year Fine Arts Certificate Program from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and applications for the fall semester are open now! #PAFAPartner www.pafa.org/school
"Surprisingly, not enough people know this, but this building on North Broad Street holds an incredibly important role in art history, and for a select number of artists, it offers the opportunity to build a career and a practice built on its legacy. The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, aka PAFA, was the first art school and museum in the United States. As a school, its classrooms have been home to over two centuries of direct, hands-on instruction that have helped formed so many of the greats, from Mary Cassatt to David Lynch. There is a fine arts certificate program that I don't think enough people know about. It's a three-year career training program designed to prepare students for professional careers within the visual arts and related creative industries. It's the kind of comprehensive program that's perhaps ideal for someone who's considered a traditional college but realized it's not for them, or someone later in their life who's eager to reignite their art practice. If you're curious about joining the legacy of PAFA, reach out today for more information. Applications for the fall semester are open now."
