"A year ago today, I sat with 29 brave people in Parliament Square holding a cardboard sign with those terrible words, I oppose genocide, I support Palestine action. This action peacefully funnelled my frustration and anger that our government were not intervening to stop a genocide. They weren't even sitting on their hands observing a genocide. They were actively supporting a genocide. What can I do at my age with my frailty? Very little I do what I can to support the Palestinians. Many of your officers are sincerely committed to saving lives and upholding the law. They understand that genocide is the ultimate crime. We are hoping to join forces with your officers in protecting the children of Gaza, which is what we're about. Saving lives is not terrorism. Destroying murderous weapons is not terrorism. I oppose genocide. I encourage everyone to support Palestine action. Expressing an opinion which highlights the UK's government's specificity of genocide is not terrorism. The government are using terrorism legislation to try and silence and crush resistance. But we will not be intimidated. Expressing opinions that the government don't like is not terrorism. I am a member of Palestine action and I encourage you to support them and to become a member too."
