"What are some of your favorite tools for living in the copy when it comes to commercials? One of my favorites to do is when I feel like I'm stuck in a salesy mode because again sometimes the copy they're like don't sell the product but the line is like and this week cheese is 99 cents it's like that is there's nothing but selling in that line. Usually what I do is I try to trick myself by going way way hard on the salesy spectrum and do absolutely what I should not be doing and I'm not recording it but I'm just as an exercise I'm going really hard in the cell like sell sell sell do a wild character be some cartoon trying to sell cheese and that is kind of getting out getting it out of my system all these things that my brain thinks I should be doing I should be emphasizing this word or I should be you know ending with an uptick because it sounds friendlier just just getting it all out and then going back shutting it down doing the flattest read I can do and then even though I feel like I'm not giving it up enough I'll listen back and I'll be like no you know what that works because sometimes when the copy is so at odds with my goal I have to trick myself into letting go of the meaning I'm assigning to those words and just let it just let it flow. This is a great tool set want to know more about this head on over to acting.skillshub.life"
