Based on a story by the legendary Ray Bradbury, a spaceship from another world crashes in the Arizona desert. An amateur stargazer and a local schoolteacher suspect alien influence when the local townsfolk begin to act very strangely. Arnold's direction gives the desert an eerie dreamlike quality. Shots from the aliens' POV seem way ahead of their time. This is science fictionist poetry, and a reminder that curiosity can be braver than violence. That's it for us today.
