A few of the cool new features that have been added to RTX Remix!

🎤 Whisper Transcript (en) ⏱ 64s

"Did you know the latest RTX Remix updates just made remastering classic games even better for modders? First up, the latest RTX Remix updates introduced Advanced Particle VFX, giving modders more options with particle effects like dynamic animations, gravitational effects, and randomized elements, as demonstrated in Quake 3 Arena RTX, which you can download today. It also adds Smooth Normals, a top community request that helps older, blocky geometry look cleaner under fully path-traced lighting. New RTX IO compression options let you shrink game files, speed up game loads, and improve texture streaming, just like we saw in Portal RTX and the Half-Life 2 RTX demo. In fact, RTX IO helped to shrink the Half-Life 2 RTX demo from 80GB to 50GB. RTX Remix skills allows you to use AI coding agents in your Remix workflow, so even non-programmers can guide AI to write code, test it, and help ship advanced features faster. Want to learn more?
