The way I read those statements and the way I understand the situation is that everyone's just trying to calm things down. This situation is very much one where on both sides, the Blue Jackets front office on Zach Renske side, it's like, whoo, that escalated quickly. And it went places that neither I think were all that comfortable with. You know, where this goes, I think is still a little bit open ended. I know that Zach Renske has said he wants to be in Columbus. I believe that was always the case, to be honest. I mean, my understanding of where this all began was sort of an open ended conversation after the season back in April. I've been told multiple times there was nothing close to a trade request or anything when it got to this week. Only one team was presented to Zach to go to potentially, and that was the Dallas Stars. He didn't want to waive his no movement clause to go there. It didn't think that was the right situation for him and his family. I think there was a lot of emotions around that because Columbus looked at the other potential trades that could be out there from other teams and they didn't like what they saw. You know, he's got two more years under contract at this point in time. I have to believe he'll be back playing for them to start next season."
