We are living in the last days. This is not fear — it is a wake-up call. 👀 "You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God." — 2 Timothy 3:1-3 NLT
"If you looked at the news today and thought, what is happening to the world? The Bible actually warned us about this nearly 2,000 years ago. Paul writes in 2 Timothy 3 that in the last days people would become lovers of themselves, lovers of money, proud, ungrateful and without natural affection. Doesn't that sound familiar? But this isn't meant to make us panic, it should prepare us. Jesus said in Matthew 24-12 that the love of many would grow cold. Yet God calls his people to be different. Philippians 2, 3, 5 tells us to walk in the same humility that Christ showed. The darkness around us isn't proof that God has lost control. It's a reminder that his word is true and that Jesus is still the answer. Let us pray. Father, forgive me for my sins. Give me a heart that loves you more than this world. Help me reflect Jesus in a culture that has forgotten you. I believe Jesus died for me and rose again. Be the Lord of my life in Jesus' name."
