"I got knocked out of the club championship by a wasp. I was playing the last 16 against a very good player, so obviously, on the way to the match, I got stung on my hand. Not even my bowling hand, but it hurt enough that I spent the entire first half of the game not being able to focus on line and weight, because I was more worried about whether or not I'd been personally betrayed by nature. I went about 11-2 down, and then as the pain eased and the game continued I started playing better and it ended up with a fairly competitive score, but I'd given him too much if I had start, so that's me out for this year. Last 16 at a competitive club, not bad, but next year they'll ideally be friendly or wasps."
