"had to fake some live photos to send out to people, so they would do this in their bedrooms any skill right. So he said, we had a blackout sheet put over the window so we could use the bedroom as a dark room. And this doubled as a backdrop to simulate being on stage. Obviously there were no pictures of us performing together because one of us had to take the photo. We fully realized at the time how ludicrous this was. It's one step away from singing into your hairbrush in front of the mirror. But the irony was we were only doing it because we wanted to be taken seriously. If someone had given us a gig earlier, then we wouldn't have had to do that. But since we'd never played one at this point, we had to make it look like it was a real band."
