ive dealt with imposter syndrome more in the last 5 years of my career but looking back on it that is where the most growth has happened if youre experiencing imposter syndrome it means youre growing
"I essentially created TORQ at VACA. I was asked to start my own division because of the amount of job opportunities I was bringing in because of the content I was creating. And I had to convince everybody to come work for me on a draw. So what a draw is, is that you don't really have a salary. You do, but you don't. You have to pay it back if you don't meet your sales goals. I tried to convince 70 people to come build a platform with me that was based on Trello. I had people come out later saying that they made fun of me behind my back because of the content I was putting out. Now I'm moving into like, my brother texted me, he's like, you're kind of like a creative director for like boring businesses. Everything I'm doing, I don't know what I'm doing. All I'm doing is looking at my people who I look up to in like the creative space. I'm like, I want that. Let's go build that. You're doing something. Everything I've done, nobody's told me to do. I have dealt with more imposter syndrome in the last five years of my career ever. I've been so insecure."
