I have lived in Thailand for a long time and have no health insurance but out-of- pocket health care is very cheap here. I was recently bitten by a street dog. The AI information in a Google search gave me important warnings about rabies that I needed to receive the rabies treatments right away. So that gives me hope that AI might help some people get basic medical advice that could be life-saving even if they have no money to go to a hospital. But a needed hospital stay or surgery can be very expensive in the US when a person has no health insurance and can bankrupt a person even if they have health insurance. Medicare for all needs to replace the greed-driven health insurance system and now politicians in the US government say Social Security benefits need to be cut. There are logical ways to fund Social Security into the future and even increase benefits but if the billionaire classes plan to privatize Social Security eventually gets put in place life is going to become very much harder for many people."
