"stereotypes and it was made by a bunch of lesbians. This is Jan Oxenberg's A Comedy in Six Unnatural Acts. It satirizes common lesbian stereotypes that are portrayed in media. Lesbians being wallflowers, about lesbians being promiscuous, about being predators, you name it, they're all here. My favorite unnatural act is the role-playing one of a mask woman getting ready in a suit and slicking back her hair. A lot of really great butch representation here, something we still do not see a lot of today. Not only that, there's a mask for mask representation. And then you have this scene. It's just a bunch of lesbians together in one room and just having fun. Once again you don't really even see that a lot today. This representation goes really hard. This film came out only two years after homosexuality was taken out of the DSM-5. This is also released in the midst of a huge wave of feminism. White feminism, yes. This is very white. It's only like 25 minutes long. I recommend checking it out."
