"Summing up a career while you're in the middle of it is a little strange. It kind of feels like what I imagine it's like when you're stopped during a marathon and someone like hands you a banana or something. I don't know. I would never run a marathon. I don't know. So everyone tonight, the art that they make, the work that they do, it's like your music, right? And you make a song and you need people to put it out into the world and you need people to believe that you're a good singer and that you can sing and you need people to listen to you and tell you to keep going and write music for you and sing with you and harmonize. And so many of you have done that for me. A lot of you are here tonight. So I'm just I'm very, very grateful that I can bring any of you any joy. But just I'll leave you with this. Life is a dream. A career is a series of moments mostly out of our control. All you usually remember is the feeling and the people. And if you're lucky, the feeling is usually love. So much love to the people who helped me make the music, some self-love for catching some of the fish on my own. Thanks to my parents for safety, my boys for wonder, and my love Joel for reminding me that the next part might be the best part. Thank you so much."
