It's Monday, July 6th and we're coming off a particularly violent July 4th weekend for the city of Buffalo If you want to hop on over to the Chictowaga scanner page You can pretty much get a feel for exactly what was going on with a few errors, which she's quick to clarify But at least at one point the local hospital ECMC actually had to start diverting due to all the gunshot wound victims that were coming in That's how many there were it was a pretty bad night There was even a Buffalo police officer's home that was somehow targeted and shot up Everybody was okay, thankfully, but it just goes to show just how bad things were It did hit the mainstream media that there were six shootings I believe that's the number that everybody settled on but it was just a horrible, horrible night I'm sorry, a horrible weekend intermixed with a lot of festive activities and respect for the birth of our country Getting quickly involved in the controversy here, if I can say that right Getting into the controversy here real quick There was a report of a homicide that came out of all that but Chictowaga quickly clarified that that didn't happen And in fact in one of his more personal narratives and posts on his Facebook page He explains the dilemma of actually reporting as one person for the Facebook page in real time Anyone with a scanner can listen and he's just one voice of many But let's try to get past it and get right back into the standard drama There was a fire apparently this morning at 784 Worley Drive Firebuff New York got out there and was actually able to get quite a bit of a video Let's just play one of those really quick This is just one video of several he's got posted at Firebuff New York Go check out his Facebook page I fixed the audio issues we were having by the way And speaking of controversy, the Buffalo Police Union is totally comfortable with referring to about half its city's populations as libtards Do the right Googles and you'll catch up on that controversy I made an editorial at buffscan.com Totally not cool but they may not necessarily feel that way officially You'll have to read my editorial to get to the bottom of it And I was able to belt out an editorial to the Buffalo subreddit regarding those bills Preserving access for the media only to encrypted police communications Check that out I will see you guys tomorrow morning Have a great one"
