BROWDER: Trump has been on Putin’s side since he came back into power. Neither Trump nor Putin has changed their positions since. Nothing has changed other than Ukrainians’ position on the battlefield, their ability to destroy Russian economy and cause absolute havoc in Crimea.

"Well, I mean, at the end of the day, Trump has proven himself to be on Putin's side at every step of the way. And so that's been the consistent position he's had since he came back into power in February 2024. So there is no question that he has been on Putin's side and that has come from him cutting off all financial and military aid for Ukraine. That's come in the form of voting with Russia and other rogue regimes against all Ukrainian resolutions at the United Nations. That comes from his unbelievable outburst and the Oval Office against Zelensky and his unreasonable proposal that Ukraine gives up territory that Russia hasn't been able to militarily win. And so he's been on Putin's side. Why he's been on Putin's side, anyone can speculate. I've got my ideas. Many people I know have their ideas. I'm not going to speculate on the air. But what I will say is that it would be completely unrealistic to think that he somehow changed his position. He sometimes mutters a few things, which sounds ambiguous, but he's not changed his position. Putin hasn't changed his position. Nothing has changed other than the Ukrainians position on the battlefield. The Ukrainians ability to use drones to destroy Russian economic capability. The ability that Ukraine has now had to cause absolute havoc in Crimea. Those are things that he has no control over and those are things that are changing the outcome here. But I don't think that Putin has changed his attitude and I don't think Trump has changed his attitude."
