"just wanted to give you all a quick update that the North Carolina State Legislature finally passed that budget. And great news, the Healthy Opportunities Pilot Program, aka HOP, was included in the budget. And that is a program that uses Medicaid dollars to fund interventions, including domestic violence precautions and interventions, food security, housing and transportation. This is an important step forward. It wasn't as much money in the budget as we wanted, but this is going to mean a lot to a lot of people. So congratulations and happy Fourth of July."
