"just gotten like a decisive mandate through the election. Do you guys feel like the election had anything to do with kind of how neatly this wrapped up for Mamdani or just generally speaking like kind of his positioning towards these types of negotiations moving forward of like who dare stand in my way? I think on a sort of a technical budget level analysis question, we're gonna need a little more time to actually like go like look at the budget and see what's in it to know how much of this is like smoke and mirrors and how much of this is like a substantial win. But certainly in terms of optics, which is a sphere that Mamdani and his team dwell in comfortably, yeah, it's a win. I mean, there were a lot of people in the room at the press conference announcing this budget deal Tuesday morning who under other circumstances might have found it advantageous to sort of present themselves as antagonists and be like, well, this was a hard fought thing. We got a lot of things that the mayor didn't want and the mayor got some things that he wanted that we didn't want and we will continue to wage this battle going forward and that was not the tone. The tone was everybody is all on the same side and that's the mayor's side, which is like that is a telling statement of the political reality right now."
