Jalen Brunson’s game-worn NBA Finals debut jersey sold for over $1 million at a Sotheby’s auction, after a championship run that ended with the New York Knicks’ first title in 53 years.

🎤 Whisper Transcript (en) ⏱ 52s

"We have Jalen Brunson's Game 1 NBA Finals jersey, obviously the first Knicks championship in 53 years. The city and the country really was in a frenzy over this series. I think if you were here, you saw it, you heard it. When they won, people were in the streets for I think 24 hours and then an estimated 5 million people came to the parade, the ticker tape parade. I think these jerseys are symbolic of one, what they meant to the city, what this team means to the city, but also they're an artifact for this incredible run that the Knicks had, the first championship in 53 years."
