Latest from Queensland Supreme Court on the actions of the 13yo who is alleged to have planned a terrorist attack on a school in Maryborough. No youth crime questions put to David Crisafulli. Can you imagine the reaction from media if this had happened under a Qld Labor govt? #qldpol
"Details have surfaced about Amira Bratine's alleged plot to carry out a school massacre sparking a counter-terrorism investigation. Brendan Smith, you have some new court documents in relation to this case. Yes Sharon, they outline how the 13-year-old is alleged to have told police he got an adrenaline rush from ideology-related mass murder and that he asked AI to write a hypothetical Bondi atrocity-style story targeting a multicultural festival. Court documents also allege he told investigators he holds disdain for people with dark-coloured skin as well as Jews and Muslims. On May 28, the teen is accused of going to a Amira Brat service station, wearing a mask and threatening to stab an employee. After his arrest, it's alleged he told officers he planned an attack for months inspired by other school tragedies with the intention of killing children because they were easy targets. After the threats at BP, it's alleged he tried to steal a car so he could go to a nearby primary school to carry out an attack. Sharon, the teen remains in hospital for mental health treatment. The case returns to court in September. All right, thank you Brendan."
