It’s been one year since Republicans pushed their One Big Beautiful Bill through Congress. One year on, Democrats still believe that families shouldn’t have to sacrifice their health care for billionaire tax breaks. Ranking Member @neal.house.gov:
"Well, note the inconsistency of the Republican messaging as it relates to their big tax bill. It's so big and so popular, they had to change the name of it. The result has been that 5 million Americans have lost their insurance coverage. There are millions of Americans who still may lose their insurance coverage. And the truth is that the money was borrowed for the purpose of giving a tax cut to people who were neither asking for it nor needed it. So, when I look at what they did, they're cutting health care to give a tax cut to people who didn't need it."
