Born right here in Chicago, house music grew out of our neighborhoods and dance floors before inspiring people all over the world. It's more than a genre, it's a part of our cultural legacy. Chicago has always been my home. I'm Jesse de la Peña. I'm DJ Lady D. And I'm gonna be spinning at the Obama Presidential Center. And I'll be spinning at the Obama Presidential Center today, Friday, July 10th. Along with DJ Lady D, we're doing a special house music set 2 to 4 p.m. And this is all happening right down the street from the legendary Chose and Feed picnic, making it to me the perfect way to celebrate two of Chicago's greatest musical traditions.
