"You know, one of the biggest things I want Craig's Cause to be known for is that we are raising and continue to raise public awareness. That we have our boots on the ground and that we're working intimately with the patients and caregivers. You know, I can't even begin to count the number of people that have inspired our work. It's amazing, our patients that participate in our events and fundraised with third party fundraising always say, this may not help me, but I want to help the future pancreatic cancer patients. It just speaks to that Canadian passion and empathy and kindness that Canadians are known for. You know, we want to help others. I'm proud of the Kicking Pancreas event. It started as Light Up the Lake and then was rebranded into a name where it creates, you know, it's fun. It's edgy, but we do want to kick some pancreas. I'm proud that last year we had close to 2,500 Canadians participating in Kicking Pancreas events across Canada. I'm proud that we've built it again this year. I'm proud that we're in all 10 provinces."
