Went to the doctor, saw a horrific instrument of death on the way in. NBD
"We are going to a new doctor today. We spent like a combined four hours doing the paperwork. We're paying out of pocket. They specialize in hard to diagnose, hard to treat stuff, TBD if it's worth it. I haven't been out of the house in a while. That. I don't love that. Whether for like 90 minutes, they took 17 vials of blood. And the person we saw was like, your case is too complicated for me, but I can get you set up. And then we can get you on the schedule to see the main doctor who is currently scheduled out until 2027. So that was five hundred and thirty five dollars that we're never going to get back. And we won't know if it pays off until perhaps the next calendar year. How am I feeling? I'm about the same as I always am. The fact that people with lung co would have to go to these out of pocket doctors makes it so inaccessible for so many disabled people. And it's only accessible for me because I'm partnered and still working to pay for this kind of shit to their credit. At least they wear a mask. That is not the case with like 95 percent of the medical appointments I go to. Also, that cross was not theirs. They just happened to be located next to a Christian preschool who has apparently decided it is appropriate to display an execution torture device next to the playground."
