While our founders aimed for a righteous nation, human imperfections, greed, and sin means that America is a mix of noble ideas filled with flawed realities. Proverbs 1434 says, righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. These days, opposing sides have fought over what they believe is right and removed God from the center, which is the very reason things are raveling apart. But some of us carry on the pursuit of righteousness, guided by faith and a desire to realign with God's truth. So as we honor our history, may we always remember to give praise and keep faith in God, as He is the foundation and our strength."
