"So I'm continuing my World Cup theme, given it's World Cup, and this time I'm looking at a photograph I took in South Africa in 2010 when I went out to cover the World Cup. And this one image here that I'm showing you was a great example of the kind of fan-based images that I get. And I love this because of the colours, and this definitely made it onto the photo page that they printed. I'm just going to show you one example here. So this was a sort of day working during the tournament. There was actually no games during this particular day that I was shooting. So I was shooting fan villages, shooting around the town, trying to get pictures that conveyed something of the atmosphere of being there, like this football in the middle of this telecom tower in the middle of Johannesburg, as well as, as I said, the day-to-day life that I was out to do. So this started off with a match at a fan village that wasn't being played in Johannesburg. And you can see the fans here. And it's actually at this place that I was able to get that one photograph that I showed at the very beginning. And key to this was the fact that behind the girl, I always say look behind a picture before you take it, because the background really sort of makes or breaks a great photograph. And we had these beautiful colours, blue and yellow, either side of her, as well as her face being painted and looking straight at the camera. Again, long lens, wide aperture and just focus on the eyes. As simple as that. You can see some of the rest of the images. And then later on, I went out to Soweto to a nightclub and just tried to, again, try to feel some of the atmosphere of people watching the game in different places. There's one shot of me you can see here with the Canon cameras that I was using. So again, you know, just taking a punt, going out, finding a bar that was showing a game in Soweto and then just spending the evening there talking to people and shooting pictures and hoping to come up with something that gives me that atmosphere of being there. OK, that's it for this one. I'm going to keep going with a few more football related picture stories in the next few days."
