So there are two different sides, and different things can happen during the surgical process. Perhaps there's more dissection on one side, perhaps there's more bleeding in one side, and any of those things may cause a little more oozing than a little more bruising afterwards. Either way, you need to follow the directions that your doctor has given you. You need to use a lot of cool conferences after, sit up a lot and refrain from excessive activity, and then monitor the bruising if you have concerns.
