"The president is reckless. He's out of control. He's cavalier with our men and women in uniform, with our military, a sacred trust that we have to protect our men and women. You know, I began my public service in uniform as a paratrooper and an Army ranger, and every single day I think about when I'm in Washington, what do I need to do to protect them and to bring them home? This president is off the rails. We know that, and that's why it's more important that we actually elect people around this country who are street fighters, who are willing to take the fight back to this administration, end this reckless war, end this military adventurism that this president is engaging in and bring our folks home."
