"biology platforms are actually engineering entirely new molecular structures that don't exist in nature or don't exist in petroleum, and we're building the domestic factory floors to mass produce them, so that's very exciting. In fact, we have a program called DBIMP, D-B-I-M-P, which stands for Distributed Bioindustrial Manufacturing Program, which has just released the first two of a series of build awards to small biotechnology companies whose innovative solutions bring the promise of securing our supply chains and continuing to reshore our defense industrial base. One of these called Cyclokinetics is a non-traditional defense contractor based in Salt Lake City, Utah. We've just awarded them about $86 million, which they're going to combine with private funding to construct a pilot scale bio-manufacturing facility for the high-performance fuels that are critical to advanced propellant formulations. This will give them an expanded production capacity of about 215,000 gallons per year once complete, which is a sufficient volume of fuel for DOW to leverage."
