Intel Is Restarting Old CPU Production Because RAM Got Too Expensive #tech #hardware #intel #it

"Intel is bringing back old processors, because new memory got too expensive. Chinese sources say Intel restarted production of 13th and 14th gen Raptor Lake chips, the ones that support cheaper DDR4. The reason is the DRAM crisis. DDR5 prices spiked so hard that motherboard makers are already going back to DDR4 boards, and retailers are being told to push those cheaper builds. For now, it's China only. No word on other regions. So instead of moving forward, the memory shortage is dragging the whole market backward. When new and cheaper means chips from two generations ago, who's really paying for the DRAM crisis?"
