Sometimes he is, but as we've established, the courts aren't going his way all that much. Like this case. He tried to get rid of the Environmental and Climate Justice Block Grant Program. What does that have to do with Biden? Program was created as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. Oh, so he failed? Yeah, Southern Environmental Law Center sued. An Obama appointee, Judge Richard Gergel, said that the president and federal agencies cannot ignore statutory mandates just because they don't agree with them. He's going to keep trying, though. Well, obviously, we can't work miracles, but we keep fighting and we keep winning and that's what matters. And for now, this grant stays. What's the grant for? It gives funding to community organizations and groups that are working to mitigate the climate crisis. Oh, yeah, that matters. What else you got? Florida School District fired an intersex teacher for being intersex? For being trans, though he wasn't told that by the school. We found out later that a parent filed a complaint about him. Oh, Jesus Christ. Anyway, the ACLU filed a charge of discrimination on his behalf. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission demanding he get his job back. You think the U.S. government is going to care? No, but as I've said before, continuing to fight is the biggest part of the battle. And you never know, the school district doesn't really have a leg to stand on here. I know the administration is corrupt and I have no faith in them. Filing the complaint is still a win. Yeah, whatever. What else? Activist groups from all over the country have started a boycott against Citizens Bank. Why? Because they work with GEO Group and CoreCivic. Gross. Jersey City in New Jersey has even divested from the bank. The whole city? Yep, that's what happens when Democrats are voted into office. And more recently, the Greater Cleveland Congregation pledged to withdraw more than $1.3 million. Will that do anything? The more groups and governments pull out, the less it pays for them financially to keep working with GEO Group and CoreCivic. And they're using their voice, which is their superpower.
