"The U.S. just attacked the railway we traveled on from Tehran to Mashhad, where we are here today for the burial of Sayed Ali Khamenei after two nights of escalating U.S. attacks against Iran. Trump promises more attacks in the coming hours. For the past two nights, the U.S. and Iran have exchanged tit-for-tat attacks started by the U.S. against Iran, masking its weakness by attacking Iran for implementing what has been agreed upon in regards to Iran's authority over the Strait of Hormuz, a key aspect of the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding. Last night, the attacks were much wider scale. The U.S. fired a missile at the Mashhad-Tehran Railway, which is how a group of journalists and reporters arrived in Mashhad less than 24 hours before, to prevent thousands of mourners and journalists from reaching the city for Sayed Khamenei's final burial. Trump is also clearly very personally bothered by the tens of millions of people pouring into the streets of Iran to mourn Sayed Khamenei, with many holding signs, calling for direct revenge against Trump himself. At a NATO meeting in Turkey, Trump claimed the MOU is over and described the Iranian people as a cancer that needs to be cut out early. Trump was both sending a message to NATO states that the war is not over and he will continue to drag them into it, and affirming to Iran he never intended to respect the MOU. The U.S. also attacked sites across Iran's southwestern coast near the Strait of Hormuz, leading to the deaths of several Iranian army soldiers. In response, Iran struck U.S. bases across the region, from Bahrain to Kuwait, to as far as Jordan, and vowed that any further aggression will result in even more severe and unprecedented retaliatory strikes. Today, Ayatollah Khamenei will be buried in the Imam Reza Shrine, the third largest mosque in the world and one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in Islam. One thing is certain, many Iranians believe they have yet to avenge the killing of their leaders by the U.S. and Israel."
