"Today's encouraging moment is, I will bow down towards your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your loving kindness and your truth, for you have magnified your word according to all your name. This comes out of Psalms chapter 138 verse 2 in the New American Standard Bible. And the psalmist here is giving thanks for the amazing love that God has. That word that we've talked about before, loving kindness, is a word used to describe the kind of intense, caring, compassionate, tender kind of love that God has towards people and more importantly, that God has towards you. That's right. I want you to hear that again. God loves you with an intense, caring, compassionate, tender kind of love that goes beyond anything you can imagine, magnitudes and magnitudes better than the best kind of love that you can find on this planet that God loves you with. And the psalmist here is giving thanks because of that. It says he's magnified his word according to his name. God's name is great, right? God's name is the one name that conquers everything, right? The name of Jesus is the one that is above all other names, right? And yet it says that you have magnified your word, which means when God says that he loves you, that word is just as powerful as the name of Jesus. So I just want to encourage you today to know that you, you are loved by God."
