"If I, there's a kind of a minor flare up on social media, you know, right now that relates to this. And that is that there is an obsession from men about women. This is how women need to be. And then women are kind of have this obsession with what men need to be. And then what happens is that women will say, oh, they see these men, you know, they're doing these bad things and have these bad attitudes with regard to women. And then women will often also kind of with other women be like, yeah, totally the men of the problem. Sort of, honey, you know, you're not the problem, it's the man, which that's not always the case. Right. You know, we try. I mean, friends try to support one another, but at the same time, we're all imperfect people. So let friends just be echo chambers. Right. And then men is the same thing. I mean, men can gather together and say, yeah, no, the problem definitely is women. When our main focus really should be not finding the perfect spouse, but being the perfect spouse as best we can be. If you think you're the perfect spouse already, you are not, right? You got some work to do, right? We have to recognize where we're not and really work on that. And I think a big problem today is that this is this is the whole other episode. We've actually gone into a whole other episode, but a whole other episode is the fact that part of our life in Christ, what we have to do is to live this life that is the life of the virtues. Now we can't live the life of the virtues entirely. This is where a lot of classical education limitation, right? We can learn virtues, but the only way we can live the virtues is with God's help, with God's grace, with his power. But we have our part in living the virtues and repentance, repenting when we're not doing it. And we have to make sure that as Christians, we are living all of the virtues the best we can. Sometimes women are looking for certain virtues in men and men are looking for virtues in women and sometimes they're not the same set or have the same definition of these things, the same commitment."
