"I want to cut right to the chase. I'm the only refugee running in this race for Hennepin County Attorney. I'm the only one with the most practical experience, 15 years of prosecution. I am so proud to have announced that I opened up an investigation amongst those federal ICE officers that took that monk gentleman out in his underwear. You guys might have seen that announced. I'm leading that. I'm the only candidate who's actually investigating and will prosecute ICE, and I'm doing that right now. I got sworn in the federal court eight weeks ago because they're not gonna throw me out. I'm going to do this, and I will stay as long as I can to do this. I live right here in Minneapolis. I raised kids here in Minneapolis. I raised a trans kid, and I'm proud that I stood with Governor Walz, that I stood with A.G. Ellison when we sued Trump. It was one of the scariest things that I had to do, but as an immigrant and a refugee who was given everything in this country to have this voice, this education, and this experience, I will stand up and tell the president, we're suing you, and we did that.
