Why Cant he enter a cemetery? A Kohen is commanded by the Torah to avoid contact with the deceased, except for certain close relatives. This mitzvah preserves the unique holiness of the priestly family, descendants of Aaron, and reminds us that Judaism places great value on both life & holiness.
