The Trump administration wants you to take ICE at its word. Houston won't. They're already making excuses for why there isn't body camera footage. Enough with the excuses. Enough with the cover-ups. ICE, get out of Houston.

I joined the vigil last night to honor Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and be with a community demanding answers. Houston is speaking with one voice. We will not simply take ICE at its word. We're demanding the facts, full transparency, and an independent investigation into what happened.
