No fan zones today. Next fan zone at Whittier Narrows opens July 9. Organizers tell me 4117 people watched Mexico vs. England yesterday at the fan zone in Magic Johnson Park in Willowbrook. Not the desired outcome for many in attendance here but what a run! And everyone still set off fireworks 😂

I went to Hansen Dam to see the fan zone setup. This sets a pretty horrible precedent. On an 86-degree day, this community lost access to this city park and its glorious public pool
